Mr Speaker,

I take this opportunity to present my Maiden State of the Nation Address as head of our new coalition Government.

I wish to thank the people of Papua New Guinea on all our behalf for their participation in the delivery of a peaceful election.

Despite the predictions of chaos and violence by some, our people did our country proud.
